Milwaukee Montessori School, an independent day school established in 1961, is seeking an educator who will thrive in an entry-level, 12-month position as an Elementary and Early Childhood After School Teacher. Hours are from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
As an After School Program Teacher, you will be responsible for all aspects of your students' classroom experience, which includes monitoring and updating student attendance, supervising recess and lunch, developing lesson plans and activities, and leading engaging, hands-on lessons in collaboration with the other After School Teachers. Your work will include ensuring the safety and well-being of each student by creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, leading trips to local parks and attractions, and performing other related duties as required.
