Poughkeepsie Day School anticipates an opening for a drama teacher/theatrical technical director. Teaching responsibilities include leading classes in lower school (pre-k through grade 5) and middle school (6-8) and directing productions. The theater director is responsible for maintaining a schedule for theater use and managing the technical aspects of events that involve the whole school (pre-k through grade 12). Successful candidates will have experience working with a wide age range, will have excellent organizational skills and the technical expertise needed to support school-wide events. BA required, MA preferred.

The position is part time, but can be combined with other positions (in the after program and library) to become full time.
