The Park School is seeking a creative, dedicated and experienced Director of the Annual Fund to join our growing Development team. The Director of the Annual Fund is responsible for the leadership, management, and growth of the school’s Annual Fund program. The Director oversees all efforts towards achieving the school’s goals for Annual Fund dollars, the percentage of participation, and donor engagement. The Director will work collaboratively with the rest of the Development team.
Develop and implement a plan to meet or exceed yearly Annual Fund goals
Manage cultivation and solicitation of parents, grandparents, faculty/staff and other key constituents
Manage and increase the current pool of parent and grandparent volunteers
Organize and direct special Annual Fund campaigns, including the Parents’ Senior Class gift
Produce the school’s Annual Fund report on giving, in conjunction with Development team members
Ensure the prompt and accurate acknowledgment of gifts
Organize phone-a-thons and other fundraising events, in conjunction with Development team members
Prepare reports for the Development Office, Board of Trustees, Capital Campaign Planning Committee, and other committees as needed
Analyze and monitor annual giving trends within the independent school fundraising landscape
Facilitate the advancement of Capital Campaign goals and objectives, in conjunction with Development team members
Other duties related to the Annual Fund as required
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of three years professional fundraising experience with an emphasis on individual giving
Experience recruiting and maintaining relationships with donors and volunteers
History of successful gift solicitations with a strong record of maintaining or increasing revenue
Ability to think strategically and analytically with marketing annual giving programs
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaboration and follow-through skills across multiple departments
Experience with Excel and list management; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
