International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program Coordinator
The primary function of the PYP Coordinator is to work with the Head of School and leadership team to share the responsibility of pedagogical leadership of the IB Program. The Coordinator ensures the IB program is thoughtfully and collaboratively implemented at all instructional levels; will facilitate discussions with teachers on pedagogical aspects of curriculum; keep abreast of IB PYP enhancements and provide resources and materials to the PJS community that reflect devleopments; ensure all procedures and timelines are strategically planned and followed for IB review.
Candidates who have specific experience with curriculum & teacher development, understanding of principles of learning, and experience with the IB PYP program are encouraged to apply for this position. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit and love of learning & children are essential to this position.
