Varsity Volleyball Coach This position will be the leader of the volleyball program and coaching the most competitive team of Grades 6-8 girls. The Varsity Coach will have a strong knowledge of the game, can implement skill development, and will help players understand strategies for the game. Hamlin values both competition and a love of the game, and the Varsity Coach would model this approach toward coaching. Prior coaching experience with this age group is required and playing experience in preferred.
Season: Late August – Early November Pre-Season Clinic: August 28 (Early Start) - August 30 from 3:30-5:00 Team Placements: September 4-6 from 3:30-5:00 (September 4 - Open Gym) Practice Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Practice Times: 3:30-5:00 Game Schedule: We play in the BAIAL (www.baial.net) with a 7 game season plus playoffs. No weekend games. Stipend: $2,600-$2,900 depending on experience
Running Club Coach Running club is led by two people, and can be led for one season or for fall, winter and spring seasons. This position will support our Running Club program, which is a non-competitive, running option for girls in grades 5-8. Running club leaders will encourage young girls to think of running as a fun way to be active. Prior experience working with this age group is preferred.
