Isidore Newman School seeks a supervisor for the Middle and Upper School Library and after-school study hall for the 2018-19 school year. Qualified applicants will demonstrate interest in working with middle and upper school-age students and will be equipped to provide structure and maintain a quiet, calm study environment for these students. Priority will be given to candidates who have experience in library sciences or background as librarians or a similar role, but such experience is not a requirement. This role will also require a level of communication and partnership with the Middle and Upper School Librarian, as well as the Middle and Upper School administration as needed. Members of the Newman community value strong relationships with students while maintaining high expectations for academic work. A desire to reinforce these values and be part of the School community is a plus. Hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 3:30 until 5:30 p.m.
