The Episcopal Academy has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician who will be a part of the Facilities and Operations team and will report to the HVAC Controls Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of different systems and areas on our campus. Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performance of manual repairs when needed (change locks, hang pictures, assemble furniture, etc.).
The painting of classrooms, hallways and residential homes located on campus.
Perform maintenance of HVAC systems (assist in changing of motors, fuses, filters and control modules, etc.).
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, replace ballasts, install new LED lighting, troubleshoot and replace electrical outlets, etc.).
Perform work on lifts/scaffolding/bucket truck, aid in setting up/breaking down of tables and chairs, etc.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the source of a breakdown and correct the issue.
Ability to complete work orders in a timely manner as an individual.
Prevent breakdown of systems through routine inspections of systems and equipment
Participate in the snow removal process (always on call during storms).

5 years of experience in a maintenance-related position or completion of trade school required.
Holds a valid Pennsylvania vehicle driver’s license.
Willing to work and collaborate with others.
