As the Head of School, you'll be responsible for providing leadership to the entire campus team. This position ensures that the school provides a high-quality learning experience for children, exceptional customer service to parents, and a supportive, collaborative work environment for staff.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children.
Meet enrollment objectives by planning and executing student retention and acquisition activities.
Manage against approved budget and provide accurate financial, operational and academic reporting and analysis to Endeavor Schools.
Adhere to Employee Handbook and Implement Endeavor Schools' systems and Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure the Preschool complies with all federal, state and local regulations and licensing requirements.
Work with staff and families to analyze and meet the needs of individual students (Individual Learning Plans).
Is accessible and responsive to all constituencies - staff, parents, students and community.
Hire and retain highly qualified staff (as measured by education and experience)
Meet regularly with staff to identify and respond to the needs of teachers in all areas to better meet the needs of our students.
Implement a value added enrichment program and nurture a culture that strives for excellence while valuing and recognizing the contributions of each and every team member.
Responsible for the safety and well-being off all students and staff under the school's jurisdiction and ensure the entire campus is well maintained, orderly, and clean by conducting regular inspections.
Ensure that school staff promote a nurturing and warm environment and make optimal use of school facilities to promote a rich, well-rounded experience for students.
Job Requirements include:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Child Care Administration or Early Childhood Education.
Specific requirements set by minimum State standards and/or accreditation.
A minimum of 4 years experience in the field of early childhood education in an organization of comparable scope.
A minimum of 4 years of managerial experience with strong performance results.
Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.
Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
Highly professional and dependable
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
