Position Purpose: The Executive Assistant to the Head of School provides administrative support for the Head of School, and serves a vital role in the coordination of the Head of School’s many varied tasks and functions for the school. This position requires impeccable manners and decorum as well as excellent office administrative skills. Maturity and confidentiality are essential.

Essential Skills and Experience: • College degree preferred. • Minimum 5 years office experience. • Accuracy and attentiveness to detail. • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications (word processing, spreadsheets, publishing software). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Ability to write letters, generate reports, and merge letters. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change and additional learning opportunities. • Responsible for database maintenance of information in the Head of School’s office. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks each day. • Flexibility with schedule and overtime as required to support the work of the Head of School • Commitment to uphold a strict level of confidentiality regarding HOS business, conversations, and correspondence
