The Potomac School, a K-12 independent school in McLean, VA, seeks a qualified candidate for the position of an Assistant Director of the Extended Day Program. This part-time position, reporting to the Director of the Extended Day Program, acts as a liaison between the parents, students and the staff members.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to follow and stay up to date with the procedures and guidelines outlined by Virginia Department of Social Services, be supportive to children, and interact with all individuals in a positive manner. The individual should be organized, flexible, and willing to take on new responsibilities.
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2+ years of related work experience in a daycare or educational setting is required. First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
