The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur, an independent Catholic school for girls located in Villanova, Pennsylvania, is seeking a full time Director of Annual Giving and Stewardship beginning September/October, 2018. This position reports to the Director of Advancement. All staff and faculty are actively engaged in the Notre Dame community, and embrace the mission and values of St. Julie Billiart and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and positive individual with superior organizational, communication, and technology skills to:
Manage a comprehensive Annual Fund program with aggressive goals.
Implement strategic fundraising communications plan including direct mail, digital sources, and social media.
Build and manage Leadership Donors prospect list; solicit prospects via personal solicitation.
Build and manage an effective team of volunteer solicitors.
Responsible for compilation of Annual Report of Gifts.
Coordinates Reunion giving and Spirit Day/Giving Day programs with Alumnae community.
Utilize Senior Systems database to produce fundraising reports; serve as backup for gift posting as needed.
Create, manage, and implement Notre Dame’s Stewardship Plan for all constituents.
Assist with Advancement Office events (some of which occur on nights and weekends).
Maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality at all times.
Minimum of three years of fundraising experience, preferably in an education setting
Proven track record of achieving defined fundraising goals
Strong proficiency in the use of technology and database programs (Senior Systems or Raisers Edge preferred) as well as Excel.
Self-starter and excellent problem solver
Team player with ability to work independently
