The Park School is seeking a dynamic, outward-facing, detail-oriented Director of Alumni Giving to join our growing Development team. The Director of Alumni Giving will create and oversee a comprehensive Alumni Giving program, manage Alumni and Parent of Alumni solicitations and volunteer engagements, and hold responsibility for a variety of Alumni campaigns. The Director will work collaboratively with the rest of the Development team.
Set annual Alumni Giving goals; craft and implement a plan to meet or exceed these goals
Develop a program and set goals for Alumni Planned Giving
Create and oversee a new Alumni Reunion Giving program, with a specific outreach plan for each class
Organize and direct special Alumni campaigns
Oversee the cultivation and solicitation of Alumni and Parents of Alumni (PALs)
Manage and increase the current pool of Alumni and PAL volunteers
Ensure the prompt and accurate acknowledgment of gifts
Oversee the Annual Fund Club and the Senior Student Gift Drive
Organize phone-a-thons and other fundraising events, in conjunction with Development team members
Facilitate the advancement of Capital Campaign goals and objectives, in conjunction with development team members
Other duties related to Alumni Giving as required
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of two years of fundraising experience; experience with written and verbal solicitation preferred
Experience maintaining relationships with donors and volunteers
Ability to think strategically and analytically with regards to marketing annual giving and/or alumni relations programs
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent collaboration and follow-through skills across multiple departments
Experience with Excel and list management; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
Knowledge of The Park School’s alumni community is a plus
