The Director of International Academy Admissions is responsible for the development and accomplishment of the institution’s overall international recruiting mission to include retention and oversight of those marketing functions related to recruiting for the Academy. The Director of International Academy Admissions provides support to the principal designated school official (PDSO) in addition to managing Agent communications from inquiry through commission payments. This position also reports back to the Dean of Enrollment and Senior Staff on industry trends and assists in development of a strategic plan to advance the school’s mission to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
Follow up with the Enrollment/Admissions/Recruiting needs for International and foreign students in addition to the PDSO for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) compliance officer to maintain the school’s ability to host F1 students. Work closely with the VFMAC PDSO.
Manage day-to-day F1 ( F1 visa is issued to international students who are attending an academic program or English Language Program at a US high school, college or university. F-1 students must maintain the minimum course load for full-time student status.) student advising on compliance/record keeping, agent communication, recruitment and enrollment/admission activity (i.e. ZOHO/CRM mass email and record-keeping, phone activity, appointments, interviews, new working applicants and work with current international on Federal requirements).
Support the implementation of an international marketing plan (in conjunction with the Dean of Enrollment and Director of Marketing)
Participate in application evaluation and admission decisions.
Focus on the international recruitment and partnership programs that will target all international students for the Academy.
Serve as a liaison and SEVIS expert between Admissions, PDSO, and other offices.
Continuous education on Federal SEVIS Compliance.
Department Missions: Be the best college preparatory school using the military model to provide structure and discipline in developing managerial skills, physical strength, character and leadership.
Communicate regularly with the Dean of Enrollment and International Agents.
Travel when needed or required to support events and to recruit prospective students. This will include regular international and domestic travel as pre-approved by the Dean of Enrollment.
Other reasonable related duties as defined as assigned by the Dean of Enrollment and other members of Senior Management as required.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (30-50%)
A Bachelor’s Degree with multi-year experience in SEVIS practice, leadership, management, recruitment, sales, marketing, communications, strategic planning, negotiating, international travel, multi-cultures, and change management.
Must have boarding school and/or secondary school recruiting experience.
