Upper School History Teacher - Long Term Substitute

Parker School seeks an experienced full-time History Teacher to instruct upper school students in a college-preparatory environment. As a full-time long-term substitute she/he will teach 4 preparations of History, one social science elective, communicate with students, families and colleagues, fulfill faculty duties, and participate in extracurricular activities.
Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) with prior experience teaching history (World History, Western Civilizations and/or US History).
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: willingness and ability to learn, participate, and be active in a private school community; strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills; self motivated with high work standards and attention to detail.
Housing may be provided for this position.
