Teaching Positions: SAT Reading/Writing, SSAT Verbal, and TOEFL
We are seeking passionate, engaging, and flexible teachers who are able to motivate students to strive for excellence. Our instructors play a pivotal role in our various programs including our Thanksgiving Program, Spring Break Program and our three-week summer programs, as they not only help students raise standardized test scores, but also teach critical thinking and reasoning skills that aid students in everyday academic and extracurricular life.
Teachers must bring professionalism, be able to think on their feet, and tailor curricula to a diverse group of students, as our students have hailed from 52 different countries. They must also have exceptional interpersonal skills as they develop rapport with students and work closely with the academic director.
Prepare for and deliver engaging lectures and discussions
Work closely and develop rapports with students
Communicate and work closely with academic director
Attend meeting and training sessions
Provide thoughtful comments for progress reports
Set an example for students in professionalism, punctuality, and self-respect
For our Thanksgiving Program, must be available to work from the mornings of November 19 – 23 (including Thanksgiving morning). Possible private tutoring will occur in the evenings of that week every evening except for Thanksgiving evening.
Masters or other advanced degree preferred
Must show proficiency with and ability to teach course material through interview process
3+ years of experience working with international students strongly preferred
Must have a positive attitude and place students needs as priority
Must have good communication skills
