Middle School Special Education - Long Term Substitute
AIM Academy is proud to announce the opening for a Long-Term Special Education Substitute. The dates for this position will be from approximately mid-December to March/April 2019. AIM Academy is searching for a professional educator to join our collaborative team. Here at AIM, an interdisciplinary curriculum challenges students to think critically, and students learn to identify connections between ideas and how one area of study can inform or influence another. Since AIM Academy is dedicated to the work of equity and diversity, candidates should value engaging in open dialogue, questioning, confronting assumptions, and attuning to all voices. Middle School classrooms are small by design to allow for differentiation of instruction alongside collaborative project-based learning and hands-on approach.
Bachelor’s degree required / Master’s preferred
PA or Private Academic Certification
Excellence in writing and communication skills
Ability to positively and constructively relate to students
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Adaptive learner and self-starter
Strong technology skills
