Portsmouth Christian Academy (PCA) is in search for its next Head of School for the 2019-2020 school year.
The Head of School functions as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization. The primary purpose of this position is to provide visionary inspirational leadership for carrying out the mission of Portsmouth Christian Academy. The Head of School functions as the chief spiritual, academic and fiscal leader of the school; he/she is responsible for the planning and execution of all educational efforts and the funding support of these efforts. The Head of School serves as the representative of all employees to the Board and conveys to the staff all policies and procedures approved by the Board. The authorities of the Head of School are those granted by the Board of Directors, through the Chairman of the Board.

Candidates should possess a Masters Degree in Education, Administration or Business. A PhD in a related field is desired, but not required. Exceptions to these requirements may be extensive experience and a proven track record in organizational leadership.
