The Oakridge School in Arlington, TX, seeks a dynamic professional to lead alumni program development. This is a full-time position focused on fostering alumni and parent of alumni relationships, building programming geared toward graduates, and developing an alumni giving plan. Serving as an Oakridge ambassador, the Alumni Relations Coordinator works with alumni to secure commitments to provide professional expertise (e.g. Career Day) and volunteer service. He or she partners with Development to identify, cultivate, solicit, and sustain alumni giving.
Develop and maintain alumni database, ensuring accuracy and completion.
Maintain regular communication with alumni via direct contact, email, print, and social media. Partner with Director of Marketing on special projects like Outlook
Coordinate and lead alumni-focused events: e.g. Homecoming, reunions, moms’ lunch, alumni games, family picnics, graduation rehearsal/Welcome to the Alumni Association, out-of-town events, etc.
Assist college advising office with annual career day, which involves alumni guest presenters, and establishing mentoring connections between current students and alumni.
Oversee Graduway (Oakridge Connect) platform and increase participation.
Design and implement Alumni Board.
Build relationships with legacy parents and families.
Research and establish Alumni Clubs in key cities with concentration of Oakridge alumni.
Develop an alumni giving program.
Consider alumni awards (Distinguished Alumni, Alumni Service, Young Alumni, etc.).
Recruit and lead parents of alumni groups (care packages, insight, etc.).
Serve as the alumni relations liaison for the Development Committee.
Function as part of the Development Team.
Assist the Head of School as requested.
