The Admissions Recruiter has the responsibility for assisting with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating multi-channel marketing and recruitment strategies related to enrollment. This position works closely with other Admissions staff to ensure a successful recruitment plan.
Coordinate projects related to recruiting/enrollment and recruitment management including offer programs, open houses, and local fairs.
Oversee the evaluation of students' applications for admission per existing policies and criteria.
Advise prospective/recruited students on admissions processes.
Present reports and analyses of enrollment trends.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as high school guidance counselors.
Recruiting and contacting prospective college cadets in assigned territories.
Coordinating and participating in Admissions receptions held in assigned territories.
Meeting enrollment/recruitment goals through the execution of various approaches.
Attending special fairs, i.e. college, preparatory and camp.
Working weekends and evenings when appointments are scheduled or when assigned.
Traveling to visit prospective students and their families.
Traveling to visit high schools, colleges, universities, guidance counselors, educational consultants or others who may provide prospective students.
Keeping a file of prospective students and following up leads in accordance with established territories.
Maintaining regular office hours during the week when not traveling.
Assist families through the Financial Aid Process.
Other duties as deemed appropriate by the Senior Director of Admissions.
Dynamic; able to represent and promote the school effectively and enthusiastically; excellent organizational and communications skills.
Must be able to communicate visually and verbally with applicants and their families.
Must be good at multi-tasking.
Also must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Well-organized, detail oriented, self-starter, ability to write and communicate effectively, ability to handle sensitive information, works well under pressure.
Strong computer and organizational skills.
Must be able to think, plan and execute strategically.
Knowledge of CAMS administrative software is a plus.
Flexible schedule and willing to travel.
Understand Customer Service.
Utilize relationship building techniques.
Be able to work as a team player.
Full time: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
Flexible schedule - may include Saturday or Sunday
