This position reports to the Director of Development and will work collaboratively with all members of the development team. S/he will have the opportunity to manage a multi-faceted budget, work on an array of special events and oversee the School’s archives.
Manage all development office budget lines, including ensuring bills are properly paid and tracked, budgets are properly reviewed and projected. Highlights opportunities for on-going cost-savings, identifies problems or areas of concerns and coordinates with the Director of Development to ensure budgets remain on track.
Maintains on-going relationship with business office to ensure proper budget tracking and adjustments as needed.
Manage office reimbursement process, including petty cash and credit card reconciliation.
Support the Alumni Relations Director on a variety of special events, including reunion, as directed.
Oversee management, continued quality and safety of the Collegiate Archives, including maintaining digital and on-site/off-site collection of archival items and appropriate finding guides.
Continually work to improve and standardize the “tagging” procedures for newly uploaded digital items into the digital archives
Work with Collegiate’s IT team to properly oversee digital collection.
Develop and maintain a collections policy to help ensure the future of the Archives.
As needed, provide appropriate displays, written information, classroom information, etc. from the archive.

Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience in development and/or related office experience
Proficiency and comfort with technology including Windows-based software, Internet applications, Internet search. Raiser’s Edge database & digital archival management experience a plus
Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to work and communicate effectively, in writing and by phone
Discretion and tact in handling confidential information
