St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's School is an independent school with an Episcopal foundation located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. It is co-educational and has Beginners (age 2) through Grade 8.
The school is looking for a highly qualified and passionate physical education teacher and coach for January through June 2019. Must have a degree in physcial education or related field as well as experience in teaching elementary physical education and athletics. Candidate should have a background in child development and motor learning, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to work with a dynamic department. Experience in teaching middle school individual and team sports, non-traditional sports, and fitness activities as well as fitnessgram required. Position includes middle school assistant coaching.
