Scheck Hillel Community School, one of the largest private Jewish Community schools in the country, seeks a dynamic and engaging Senior Development Officer to join our team. Based out of North Miami Beach, Florida; responsibilities included developing and managing strategies to secure and maintain major gifts, soliciting prospects and ensuring appropriate stewardship of $100,000 and higher.
Reporting to the Director of Development, this position works collaboratively with colleagues on the prospect management team, board members, leadership, faculty, and other partners to cultivate purposeful relationships with donors and implement effective solicitation strategies.

Qualified candidates must have at least 6-10 years of proven major gifts fundraising experience, a minimum of a bachelors degree, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and other relevant computer systems. Knowledge of the Southeast Florida fundraising landscape and fluent spanish a plus.
