The Klingenstein Center seeks an Associate Director with a passion for the mission of the program to cultivate transformational independent and international school educators and leaders. Key administrative duties include:
Serving as a core member of the administrative team
Collaborating in the daily work, curriculum review and design, and strategic planning of the Center’s educational and outreach programming and initiatives
Directing admissions and scholarship processes for the Center’s degree and non-degree programs
Developing admissions recruitment strategies
Communicating with alumni in relation to admissions efforts
Liaise with Teachers College Admissions, Student Aid Offices, and other administrative offices as needed
Developing, monitoring, and reviewing annual budgets and budget updates in collaboration with the Klingenstein Center Director, Teachers College Office of the Controller, the ORL Department Office, and the Vice Provost’s office
Managing annual budget for admissions, recruitment, financial aid.
Liaise with Independent and International Schools in relation to candidate recruitment efforts
Providing important information and support to students during their onboarding process and to support their move to New York City
Providing leadership and support for operations, strategic planning, and the development and implementation of annual and long-term Center goals.
This position reports to the Director of the Klingenstein Center. Successful candidates will possess or shows promise of successful leadership experience, will have evidence of a proven track record of working with stakeholders to support the vision and mission of educational and/or non-profit organizations, is a learner, and will possess the capacity to work collaboratively, think flexibly, and design creatively -- all towards supporting the vision and mission of the Klingenstein Center and the educational organizations and educator-leaders our programs serve.
