The Blake School seeks an energetic, intelligent and organized Middle School educator with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence to serve as its next Assistant Director. The Assistant Director must work joyfully and effectively with a full range of students in addition to managing the complex systems that support a positive school climate. The ideal candidate displays a strong work ethic and a lively sense of humor, has a broad understanding of Middle School curriculum and philosophy, and brings substantial Middle School teaching experience. Candidates should demonstrate a professional commitment to pluralism and to developing their own intercultural competence.
