We are seeking two highly qualified substitute teachers to fill long term positions in one of our Kindergarten classrooms. This position will be covering a planned leave of absence from approximately mid-January to the end of April. Our substitutes should embody the spirit of our mission to develop character, seek knowledge, and build community. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and engaging individual with a background in Lower School level teaching.

Qualifications & Expectations:
A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred
Student-centered, differentiated approach to teaching and student learning
Experience working with and instructing levels K-3
Maintain discipline and realistic rules of conduct for a suitable learning environment
Evaluate student progress and performance, providing comments for assessment
Willingness to be involved in the life of the school by attending events, meetings, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong collaborator and contributing team member
