The Solomon Schechter Day School (15 months through Grade 8) nurtures self-discovery through an innovative and engaging curriculum. We ignite a spark in students for Jewish learning and a love of Israel while fostering a caring, collaborative and joyful community.
The Inclusion Facilitator (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8) works collaboratively with teachers and service providers to ensure student progress, growth and successful inclusion experiences. The Inclusion Facilitator is responsible for case management and oversight of curriculum modifications for students with disabilities. The Inclusion Facilitator reports to the Associate Head of School for Program & Instruction.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students.
Provide training and support to teachers and aides to ensure appropriate accommodations and content modifications occur across all settings.
Collaborate and coordinate with service providers/all members of a student’s educational team to ensure student progress and growth.
Consult and collaborate with teachers to modify curriculum to best meet students’ needs and support the implementation of accommodations in the classroom.
Provide direct service and instruction to students in academic and social/emotional content areas.
Communicate with parents on a regular basis.

Minimum of 5 years experience in developing specialized educational and behavioral programs for students with behavioral, academic, and social/emotional needs
BCBA/ABA experience preferred
