Lincoln School, founded in 1884, is an independent K-12 Quaker girls’ school in Providence, Rhode Island. We are currently seeking a long-term substitute for Middle and Upper School Science. We would like to fill the position as soon as possible and it will run for 4-8 weeks.
The position requires teaching Upper School Biology, Anatomy, and Science Research, as well as 8th grade Marine Science. The preferred candidate will have experience with student-centered teaching and the confidence and skills to meet the needs of a variety of learners in the Upper and Middle Schools. A sense of humor, commitment to an all-girls environment, and the desire to inspire and engage young women are essential.An advanced degree in Biology is preferred, though not required.
