Provides administrative support and assists with the management and coordination of Development communication including: invitation lists, data entry, maintaining Development calendar, and assisting in the planning of parent and alumnae events.Reporting to the Director of Development, the successful candidate will work to ensure an office environment of efficiency and productivity.
A Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of related experience and/or training; possess very strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of fundraising software, attention to detail, and the ability to establish priorities, demonstrate initiative, set objectives and achieve stated goals.The successful candidate will have an outgoing and positive personality, strong interpersonal/customer-service and with the willingness to work some evenings and weekends.A self-motivated, dynamic member of the Development Team, with the ability to manage multiple projects, the candidate will have a passion for education and for the mission of Newton Country Day School.
A strong knowledge of data management software, i.e. Blackbaud, Windows, Excel and proficiency with social media platforms is preferred.
