We are seeking a caring, experienced and motivated Third Grade Head Teacher for family leave coverage from the beginning of February 2019 through the end of the school year. A Head Teacher in the Lower School is an advisor to a class of approximately twenty-two students and their families and serves an important role as chief mentor to the Associate Teacher in the classroom. Head teachers are responsible for planning and implementing instruction across all content areas, and they must work collaboratively with the administration as well as colleagues on the grade level team. A master's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education is required and prior head teaching experience is preferred. An ideal candidate must also demonstrate a warm and enthusiastic personality along with excellent interpersonal skills.
