Punahou School is actively recruiting a College Counselor who models open-mindedness, careful listening, lively debate and rigorous independent thought. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for mastery learning (or proficiency, competency or standards based learning and assessment) and will embody a commitment to the social emotional and ethical lives of our students. The College Counselor will be a vocal advocate for the students of Punahou School in their transitions to their post-secondary journeys and will work collaboratively in an accomplished office of College Counselors and support staff.

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience. Masters or Doctorate in Education (Practice/Methods) preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in college counseling at the high school and/or postsecondary environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent cross-cultural skills.
