Landon seeks a full time Upper School English teacher for the 2019-20 school year. Candidates must possess significant teaching experience and welcome opportunities to innovate and collaborate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in literature and writing and will exhibit a willingness to teach multiple levels of English with energy and creativity. This person must be interested in working with ninth graders as they develop their analytical skills and learn to express themselves articulately. The position includes coaching and advising responsibilities in addition to classroom teaching and offers many chances to engage with students beyond the classroom.
