The Solomon Schechter Day School (15 months through Grade 8) nurtures self-discovery through an innovative and engaging curriculum. We ignite a spark in students for Jewish learning and a love of Israel while fostering a caring, collaborative and joyful community.
The Inclusion Aide (Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3) assists the classroom teacher with two students in all aspects of the school day. The Inclusion Aide reports to the Lower Division Principal.
Implement individualized learning plans for students, including accommodations, modifications, and academic and social programming.
Assist in data collection and implementation of behavior intervention plans.
Assist in all aspects of the school day including supervision at recess, lunch, or other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree required, background in special education preferred.
Previous experience working with students who exhibit challenges with impulsivity and disruptive classroom behavior, and being able to think quickly and proactively in providing supports and strategies.
Knowledge of Hebrew language preferred, but not required.
BCBA/ABA experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 pounds
