Buckingham Friends School (BFS) is actively pursuing a 3-month substitute wood shop teacher. The successful applicant will teach 8 grades of Shop class 5 days a week from January 28, through approximately April 30, 2019. The position also includes modest playground and dismissal duties.
A Bachelor’s degree and prior experience working with power tools in a wood shop or maker space studio is required. Demonstrated attention to safety protocols when working with children is paramount. All applicants must have applicable PA state required background clearances before beginning work at BFS.
