We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Teacher in our Lower School for the 2019-20 school year. Our Lower School is comprised of First through Fourth Grades.
A Head Teacher in the Lower School is an advisor to approximately twenty-two students and their families and serves an important role as chief mentor to the Associate Teacher in the classroom. Head teachers are responsible for planning and implementing instruction across all content areas, and they must work collaboratively with administration as well as colleagues on the grade level team. A Master's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education and several years of head teaching experience are required. An ideal candidate must also demonstrate a warm and enthusiastic personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
