St. John’s College High School seeks an energetic teacher to join the Science Department for the 2019-20 school year. The open position may include courses taught at any level of Physics and Chemistry. The department offers courses from conceptual up to advanced placement in both content areas. St. John’s teachers are creative, innovative, and passionate about their subject, and the candidate must be able to develop and implement lessons that make the subject accessible to secondary level students and motivate them to a vivid understanding of the subject matter.

Qualified candidates must possess:
A B.A. or advanced degree in a scientific area of study
A willingness to embrace a Lasallian, Catholic educational community

The desire to bring a hands on understanding and a level of comfort with Physics and Chemistry lab work is also preferable
