Shore Country Day School (SCDS) is seeking a Director of Advancement to begin no later than July 1, 2019. This individual will join a mature development program looking to take the next strategic steps in strengthening the School. Key competencies include strategic thinking, change leadership, relationship management and a passion for owning and interpreting data. SCDS has a proven track record of strong annual and capital fundraising, so it will be important for us to secure experienced candidates who are comfortable creating donor-centered experiences to advance the School's mission and vision.
The Director of Advancement is a member of the lead administrative team and works closely with the Head of School and the Board of Trustees. Founded in 1936, Shore Country Day School has a positive employee culture that fosters the pursuit of excellence for the School.
Please submit a cover letter and resume by January 25, 2019. Successful candidates will have experience in non-profit fundraising. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record in major gifts, planned giving, and capital fundraising.
