Crystal Springs Uplands School seeks a full-time Director of Global and Community Engagement starting July 1, 2019. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of teaching and/or educational program management experience and a B.A./B.S. in a relevant field (Master’s Degree preferred). A successful candidate in this position will:
Work collaboratively with a range of school constituencies and teams to develop, implement, and evaluate global trips and local community engagement programming
Exhibit a passion for developing community partnerships that foster cultural competency and critical awareness of communities both locally and globally
Coordinate and advance the school’s vision for a unified, purposeful, robust, and sustainable global and local community engagement program
Establish and develop authentic, reciprocal, and sustainable relationships with local community organizations and international travel partners and organizations
Demonstrate commitment to equitable and culturally responsive teaching practices and program development
Support faculty and advisors in extending the reach of their curriculum beyond the school’s campus
Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills in order to manage and coordinate a range of complex projects and programs across two school campuses
