The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, an independent K-12 boys’ school, seeks a full time Lower School Spanish teacher beginning in August 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. The successful applicant will teach grades kindergarten through five and be actively involved in all facets of school life.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, experience teaching elementary age students, and an ability to promote the language and culture within the community. A masters' degree is desired as well as experience living abroad. Knowledge of best practices of instructional technologies and instructional techniques most beneficial to young boys, an interest in working with students of diverse backgrounds, and an appreciation for the value of a single-sex education will all be highly valued.
