We seek a teacher of English for grades 9-12. An innovative and experienced teacher with mastery in modern and progressive pedagogies (e.g., project-based learning), and deep understanding of curriculum design is preferred. Candidates should be enthusiastic about contemporary, constructivist approaches.
Ideal candidates for working in our culture possess an innovative mindset, are able to collaborate easily and naturally with others, while also being self-directed. Our faculty also work as advisers, and candidates should demonstrate the ability to connect with students to develop healthy and supportive relationships.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree relevant for teaching grades 9-12 English classes, with a master’s degree preferred.
The position begins August 2019.
