Hackley School seeks well-qualified candidates for a Middle and Upper School intern for the 2019-2020 academic year. Interns will be responsible for designing and teaching academic classes and serving as advisors to a core group of students. In partnership with the Klingenstein Center at Columbia University’s Teachers College, interns will receive mentoring from students in the graduate school program and from Hackley School with the potential for collaboration on innovative projects. Interns will receive a competitive salary, mentorship from seasoned teachers, the possibility of housing, and most importantly, direct teaching experience. Preferred candidates should have a passion for working with students, strong knowledge of the core content, and a desire to develop his/her skills as an educator.
