Commonwealth Academy, a grade 3-12 independent school in Alexandria, VA, is currently seeking a Coordinator of School Events & Assistant to the Leadership Team.
The Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to support the Head of School and Leadership Team in the daily operations of the school by providing administrative support. The Coordinator will organize, support and manage student, parent, and faculty-based events throughout the year. The events include meetings, special school events, and fundraising events held on or off campus. This position has a small supervisory role.
Qualified candidates must maintain the confidentiality of information and documents, maintain positive relationships with all school constituents, possess a strong work ethic and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably working in a school.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome.
