The Nightingale-Bamford School seeks an experienced, innovative, and energetic teacher to join our Math Department.
Founded by two bold, visionary entrepreneurs in 1920–the same year that women won the right to vote–The Nightingale-Bamford School gives girls from diverse backgrounds a rigorous college preparatory education. The school is widely recognized as one of the top girls’ schools in the country. There are currently 655 students enrolled in the school (Lower School 223; Middle School 198 and Upper School 234). Those applying should have a minimum of three years teaching experience at the middle school and/or secondary level. All applicants must be capable of teaching any of the math courses from Grade V through Grade XI (Precalculus). A Master’s degree is a plus, as is the flexibility to teach a schedule spanning both the middle and upper schools.
