Wooster School seeks aScience teacher with a strong background in multiple upper division core sciences, particularly biology and chemistry, to join an outstanding and capable team of teachers. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, teaching experience at the Upper School level, and a capacity, flexibility, and desire to teach across grade levels and divisions. Candidates should be curious students of the art and science of teaching and learning, particularly in the context of competency-based education and personalized instruction. They should demonstrate a flexible, positive, and a can-do disposition, and should have experience and be interested in innovative science teaching and the use of technology. Depending on the instructor’s background and interest, the possibility of designing a new course and teaching in our Deep Learning Initiative may be part of this position.
Founded in 1926, Wooster School, a co-educational, K-12, college preparatory day school with an enrollment of approximately 375 students. Full-time Wooster teachers:
