USPA seeks an SAT Test Tutor with a passion for teaching and learning to join our team! We are seeking a part-time tutors who have coached on the SAT. USPA specializes in 1-on-1 and blended instruction for high performance student-athletes. We provide: flexible and autonomous scheduling and part-time hours. USPA tutors are employees and not independent contractors. We consult with families, offer you students, handle billing, and manage payroll.
Teach a range of student sessions
Prepare weekly, customized lesson plans, and long-term plans for every student
Provide weekly and quarterly reports on students’ progress
Prepare to give updates on students, and discuss questions or concerns
B.A./B.S or graduate degree from top-tier college required
Prior experience tutoring for the SAT
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through
Affinity for standardized tests
A fun, upbeat personality and strong interpersonal skills
Intuitive teaching ability
Enthusiasm for working with high-school students
Experience working in online platforms and digital environments

From there, we require the completion of pre-interview work assignment – a thoughtful response to which will require investing 1-2 hours of preparation time. We find both the willingness to invest this time – coupled with the insights we derive from the answers – help us find the truly capable and passionate candidates. Qualified applicants who pass this review will be phone screened, and finalists will conduct interviews with our leadership team.
