The Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking full-time Early Childhood faculty in General Studies for the fall of 2019. Our faculty teaches in a professional, collaborative Jewish environment. Candidates should have experience and demonstrate a passion for Early Childhood education. They should enjoy the process of teamwork and the desire to participate in curriculum development. Excellent writing and organizational skills are required.
NYS certification required. Experienced Early Childhood teacher with an understanding of all areas of development, particularly language acquisition. Applicants should have knowledge of an interdisciplinary approach to education and differentiated learning, be able to work collaboratively within a teaching team, and have familiarity with dual-language programs. Teacher responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assessments and writing anecdotal reports.
