The Middle School Multiculturalism & Inclusion fellowship at St. Anne's is a fantastic opportunity for an early in their career educator to grow their skills as a teacher. The teaching fellow will work closely with a mentor teacher in their subject, the middle school division head, and Director of Multiculturalism and Inclusion as they gain valuable classroom teaching and lesson planning experience, targeted feedback on their instruction and professional development opportunities to develop their pedagogical toolbox.
A passion and interest for supporting equity and inclusion in schools is a requirement and there will be opportunities for planning multicultural curriculum and programming for the school. Additional responsibilities may include helping with outreach, outdoor education trips, running a club, and other faculty duties. This fellowship is designed to be a 1-2 year experience with no guarantee of future employment.
As part of the compensation for this position, the teaching fellow will receive housing on campus. Compensation also includes full benefits, a stipend for professional development, and a salary.
