Supervise completion of morning chores, morning formation, the arrival of day cadets and breakfast behavior.
Oversee accurate reporting of campus attendance and act to minimize lateness to school and classes.
Oversee in-school suspensions.
Enforce school rules throughout the morning.
Ensure designated software is used to report discipline issues and help update where needed .
Oversee lunch formation and lunch room behavior.
Enforce Drug and Alcohol Policy by arranging for regular testing and appropriate room inspections.
Arrange for appropriate counselling in conjunction with the nurse and guidance counselor as needed.
Determine privileges and develop new ones in conjunction with the Commandant to encourage good behavior.
Assume full commandant responsibilities one-two weekends per month.
10 month assignment, off when school is not in session.
Typical hours 7 AM - 3 PM on weekdays. Maximum assignment of 2 weekends on call per month.
Coaching responsibilities encouraged with stipend additional.
Prior military training a plus
Experience with high school discipline in public or private setting required.
