Puerto Rico’s premier English-language college preparatory school, is actively seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Teacher Leader in PPK-6 Mathematics to serve a key role in the restructure and implementation of its elementary math curriculum and provide instructional coaching and professional development in mathematics standards and teaching practices to elementary faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong record of collaborative leadership, curriculum evaluation and development in mathematics and faculty mentoring/coaching experience that lead to demonstrable improvements in student achievement and the procedural and conceptual mastery of mathematics.
The Elementary Math Teacher is a primarily administrative/leadership role, but will be expected to teach at least one math class in Upper Elementary School. The role collaborates closely with the Elementary Division Head, faculty, and school leadership in support of the school's mathematics program development and implementation.
