The Hebrew Coach works directly with classroom teachers to fully implement and monitor the school’s designated Hebrew curriculum. The Hebrew Coach reports to the Director of Jewish Life & Learning.
Provide ongoing professional development to teachers on the implementation of the Hebrew curriculum, including instructional strategies and differentiated instruction.
Provide side-by-side coaching with teachers and modeling of lessons in the classroom.
Analyze and modify, as needed, the Hebrew Scope and Sequence in consultation with Director of Jewish Life & Learning.
Consult with teachers about students in need of specialized instruction, enrichment and support.
Collaborate with learning specialists on instructional strategies.
Implement workshops for parents on the Hebrew curriculum, and be the liaison with parents on the curriculum.
Order necessary supplies and materials for implementation of the curriculum.
Attend all relevant faculty meetings.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a K-8 school or equivalent environment.
Current knowledge of research and effective practices in the Proficiency Approach.
