The Enrollment Manager will ensure the success of Marin Primary & Middle School by creating and directing the community-wide enrollment and retention processes. The Manager supports the school’s mission, strategic enrollment goals, and brand awareness. The Manager is a member of the Financial Assistance Committee. The Manager is a member of the school’s Leadership Team and reports directly to the Head of School.
We are looking for an experienced professional who is committed to promoting the value of our school. In addition to being knowledgeable and experienced in best practices in the area of admissions and enrollment, the ideal candidate is dynamic, interested in learning and growing as a professional, and is able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Apply best practices to develop, implement, and evaluate procedures, programs and initiatives to ensure robust enrollment throughout the school;
Utilize the latest research to identify trends and opportunities for reaching prospective families;
Collaborate with the Division Directors to foster programs and initiatives to sustain excitement about our school within the current community;
Work with the Admission Director to oversee procedures and materials for tours, interviews, applicant visits, and decisions;
Coordinate enrollment goals with Leadership Team and lead enrollment management initiatives that engage the entire school community;
Develop and oversee procedures and practices for recruiting and enrolling students; particularly those currently underrepresented at Marin Primary & Middle School;
Oversee student, alumnae, and parent volunteers who assist in the admission program;
Design and implement admission office procedures to guarantee timely and clear communication with applying families;
Assess and update decision making criteria, comparing the experience of newly admitted students with their admissions screening information;
Oversee special admissions events such as the open houses, prospective and new parent events;
Maintain and develop relations with Bay Area preschools and educational access programs;
Represent Marin Primary & Middle School at local, regional, and national admission gatherings and conferences;
Work with the Admission Director to manage the admission budget;
Report to the Board of Trustees on a regular basis;
Work with Associate Director of Development, Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, and Associate Director of Administration and Special Projects to develop and support marketing materials and practices;
Keep the Head of School informed about the long-term concerns and progress of the admission office.
